Mindstorm

A fearsome & fantastic journey to the heart of the Savage Id.

Name:
Location: Invisible City, North Dakota, United States

Read my book, The Mind-Warp Era. It'll tell you about the real Lead--& his alter-ego, the true Rootboy covered with slime (the Savage Id). Partly a poignant memoir, partly a cosmicomic book, it relays the Id's adventures thru dark dimensions of funereal dread, with Timothy Leary as co-pilot. (The rumors of his death have been greatly exaggerated.)

lazy day, Sunday afternoon...

...like to get your feet up, watch TV -- which pretty much encapsulates the previous day.

The day began when I woke up around 6:30, started surfing the net. The alarm clock awakened Trish at 8:00, then she returned to sleep. Continental breakfast. Doing a chore, mopping the floor. We had beans on toast for lunch. Then we went down in the basement to beat the heat. Watched Buffy. When dinner hour came, we pooled our cash & bought a veggie lover's from Pizza Hut. We left the porch door open while waiting for the man -- stupid, it just kicked in the a/c -- & stayed upstairs, the dryer having heated up the basement.

Following our supper, Trish & I watched the end of Mean Girls (from before Lindsay Lohan started mocking justice by getting thoroughly descoobied) & Spider-man.

The Ambien didn't work perfectly: I woke up several times during the night, finally got out of bed at 6:00 -- this just gives me an hour to write about my Hog. As W.C. Leadbeater says, "Why else would they make a comic book about a hairy Yod-Soddoth if there was no such thing as a Savage Id?"

It is now (pretty much) time for me to quit the IAD & return to work on the Hog -- name's changed, shortened, action-packed.

Once it's 8:00, I have to share my Albertson's corn flakes with Trish, & sit around drinking Scooby-dew until the soup kitchen (to avoid Cheri's food), go to the bank -- pizza took up most of our spending cash -- & then Trish has her appointment with Charlene upstairs.

From there on, it's all downhill, leading into multi-tasked fantasy & science fiction -- I really do need that set of references for the paper, & my software from Fearless Taco.
